Elaine A. Beaty
Biography
Elaine Beaty serves as a Senior Consultant with a primary focus on Government Plans at Goelzer Investment Management. Elaine joined the firm in 2019 and has over 34 years of experience working with government/public plans in the state of Indiana.
Over the course of her tenure, Elaine has specialized in the public safety retirement plans working with the entire range of plan stakeholders—retirement planning by plan participants, plan funding and administration by local units of government, benefit determination and valuation by state level administrators, and fiscal review by the Indiana General Assembly.
Elaine dedicates her time outside of career to fundraising for organizations she is passionate about, including the Humane Society of Indianapolis and the Seeds of Joy Foundation.
Prior to joining Goelzer, Elaine served as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley, and was a Vice President for McCready and Keene, Inc. for over 25 years. Elaine spent most of her career providing actuarial and consulting services to state and local units of government across Indiana and transitioned into advisory services during her time at Morgan Stanley.
Elaine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from IUPUI and later earned a degree in secondary education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She also holds the U.S. Government Plan Specialist designation.
