Biography
Kip Robbins is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Goelzer Investment Management and serves on the Investment Policy Committee. He joined the firm in 2025.
With nearly three decades of experience building stock selection models for pension plans, mutual funds, RIAs, banks and other asset managers, Kip has performed analysis, due diligence, and asset allocation for a broad array of private wealth and institutional portfolios. Kip has led quantitative investment efforts at such firms as Diamond Capital Management at the National Bank of Indianapolis, Chicago Investment Analytics (Charles Schwab), Retirement Plan Advisors (Chicago), Zacks Investment Research and the Bank of Montreal (BMO).
Kip received a B.S. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and an M.B.A. from the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is an active member of Chicago Quantitative Alliance, a national organization of professionals working in the quantitative investing field.
A devoted outdoorsman and environmentalist, Kip has volunteered for an ongoing Arctic climate change research project, and was a leader for his sons’ Boy Scout Troop. He is an avid cyclist, runs, and plays tennis and soccer.
