Brett McKamey is a Co-Founder and serves as a Senior Partner for Goelzer Investment Management, advising high and ultra high net worth private clients, serving as a member of the firm’s Leadership Team, and focusing on strategic initiatives that support the needs of our clients and position our advisors and consultants for success.

Brett joined the firm in 1990 as a Managing Director and served as President from 2003 to 2024. As a co-founder of our firm as we know it today, Brett was a leading force in the transition from a broker-dealer to a fee-based registered advisory firm and the expansion of our comprehensive wealth planning and institutional advisory services. His positive leadership has impacted every aspect of our firm.

Brett is a Life Trustee and Past Chapter Chairman of the Indiana Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, serves as a member of the Investment Committee and Chairs the Finance Committee of the Indiana Landmarks Foundation. Additionally, Brett serves on the Indiana University School of Medicine Planned Giving Committee, and the Indiana University Kelly School of Business Dean’s Council.

Prior to joining Goelzer, Brett began his career with InterFirst Bank of Dallas, working in Dallas, Texas and London, England within the roles of Credit Analyst and Funding Specialist.

Brett graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Brett holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Indianapolis.
