Cheryl Ackerman & Heather Tilton Join Goelzer Leadership Team

We are delighted to share that Cheryl Ackerman and Heather Tilton have joined our leadership team at Goelzer Investment Management.

Cheryl serves as our Director of Finance, overseeing all aspects of the firm’s finances. Cheryl has more than 35 years of leadership experience in fiscal management, mergers and acquisitions, financing and contract negotiations, process improvement, and compliance. Prior to joining Goelzer, Cheryl held senior level finance positions at an alternative asset investment advisory firm, the International School of Indiana, and Emmis Communications.

Heather serves as our Director of Administration, overseeing human resources, information technology, and vendor management. Over her more than two decades at Goelzer, Heather developed a deep understanding of our clients, colleagues, processes, regulatory requirements, and other aspects of our business as she advanced through roles in client services, portfolio operations, and IT management.

With Heather and Cheryl on our expanded leadership team, we are even better positioned to further enhance our services to our clients and support for our private wealth advisors, institutional consultants, and other professionals in the years ahead.

At Goelzer, we believe engaging in the communities in which we live and work is an essential part of who we are as a firm, and Heather and Cheryl have both dedicated significant volunteer time to organizations of importance to them. Cheryl has served on the Finance Committee of the Jameson Camp for more than 15 years. Heather has volunteered with the Little Red Door Cancer Agency for more than a decade and joined its board of directors in 2024. Cheryl and Heather’s engagement, as well as that of our other colleagues, is reflected in our latest Community Engagement Report.
